I don't often leave reviews, but after such a lovely stay thought I should. Firstly Jacqueline the owner is absolutely lovely, very friendly and very helpful and she has set very reasonable prices for her rooms. The guest house is spotless and I was surprised to get a daily turn down service in the room. Our room had a clean kettle, Tea, coffee and milk was provided along with a couple of cookies. A small nice cold clean fridge. Nice crisp clean bedding and comfy beds. The bathroom was also spotless with a decent shower and towels provided. Free WiFi and Games room with pool table. Free car parking!!! We even got a Garage that we had 24 hr access too and could leave the car locked away very safely just a 2 min walk away. There is also spaces directly outside for disabled customers initially i assume. If you struggle with stairs I would ask for a lower floor. Its a short 5 min walk to the shops and 10-15 to the beach so great location too. Obviously I highly recommend the Harrington Guest House and will be back.
Great bed and breakfast in the heart of Newquay. The host Jackie was really friendly and catered for all requests over my stay. The beach is less than a 3 minute walk away (ideal for surfing) and is surrounded by nice places to eat and drink. The breakfast was good with a large range of choice. My room had an external bathroom, this was adjacent to the bedroom which for me was absolutely fine. I would definitely recommend staying here and when I return to Newquay I will be staying at the Harrington.
Jackie the Owner and Host was lovely and friendly from the first moment I walked through the door until the day I left. Always asking if everything was okay and if I wanted anything and nothing was to much trouble for her. Even recommended a few places to visit that i never heard of before and I've been Newquay a few times. Beds were so comfy had an amazing nights sleep and the breakfast is amazing. Its in a good location to the town centre and beaches, it has the train station literally a 3 minute walk and an Asda a 5 min walk away. I would definitely recommend it and I know I'll be back. Very clean rooms with everything you need, kettle, air fryer, microwave, fan, iron and board, hairdryer plus the usual, Jackie and her hubby were more than accommodating, we could have fresh towels whenever we needed oh and the loo roll is soft ! Beds were comfy too. Would use again if we visited Newquay. Thank you both.
The Guest House is only five minutes away from the beautiful Great Western Beach in a quiet side road. The next restaurants, bars are nearby, too, and you only need ten to fifteen minutes to the towncenter. We had a small room with a comfortable bed and a bathroom outside the flat and had our own garage nearby. Everything was really clean and the price was very fair. Thank's for the nice stay and the warm welcome Jackie!
Such a lovely guests house. Great location, literally 5 mins walk from town centre and the beach. They have own parking space. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean, we had own fridge, spacious wardrobe and very comfy bed. Room service every morning. Owner is a such lovely lady, she guided us which places are worth to visit. Highly recommend and we will definitely get back next time when we at Newquay.
Stayed here for a holiday this summer, was great value and would definitely stay here again if i come back to Newquay and recommend to others. Had a room which got quite warm as it was on the top floor but there was already an air cooling device provided! Which was great. Also a nice kitted out games room where me and my partner played pool in the evening. Great place to stay, highly recommend.
Fab location and spotlessly clean rooms. Parking was sorted the instant we arrived which eased my greatest concern. Host Jackie's warm welcome made us feel she was available should we need anything. at the same time her attentiveness balanced well with the wish to leave us to enjoy our stay. Any downsides? Only that the roll on that pool table in the games room and the nap of the cloth needs looking at ;)
